Jackson Blake’s Fundraising Story
My name is Jackson Blake and I’m a 2nd Grader at Shaffer Elementary. My school gave me $1 to make a difference for someone in need. I chose the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation because of my Aunt Janie. My Aunt was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in October 2011. She is an awesome Aunt and really funny! My favorite thing to do with her is make, and of course, eat peanut cakes!!
I want to raise money to give to scientists to come up with a medicine that will cure Pancreatic Cancer.

Jackson & his Aunt Janie

Bridger Swinimer, located in Myrtle Beach, SC is currently collecting pop cans to turn in for cash so that he can send the proceeds to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation. Bridger is 13 and is motivated by the loss of his grandmother 2 years ago to pancreatic cancer, and other family members to cancer as well. Bridger decided he “wants to make a difference” in the lives of others who are battling this disease.
